This class is designed for all students regardless of experience, style or subject matter including realism and abstraction. Students will learn the proper use of professional acrylics. This is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to learn how to paint with acrylics. It is also a great class for oil painters wishing to transition to acrylics.

Private Acrylic Painting Workshops

Hines provides private Acrylic Painting Workshops that focuses on the specific needs of the student.

An initial 45 minute Consultation Visit is free.

1 hour - $75.00

2 hour sessions - $150.00

4 hour sessions - $250.00 (save $50)

8 hour sessions - $500.00 (save $100)

Hourly sessions can be bunched or scheduled daily or weekly.

Private workshops are a good way to receive concentrated, goal specific lessons geared specifically to your needs, style and genre of painting.

Private workshops are generally held at the student's studio. I've found it good and sometimes more convenient for the student to be in his or her environment as opposed to having to transport their art, supplies and tools.

Commissions

A commission is a wonderful way to get the Abstract painting you like in the size and colors you desire. Commissioning a painting is very simple.

Select a painting or paintings of mine that you like and tell me what aspects of the painting you enjoy and would like to see incorporated in your new painting. A home visit can also be arranged to help you choose the right size, color and design to match your home decor. With the information you give me and at no extra cost, I will then produce two to four small paint sketches that will give you an idea of what the actual commissioned painting will look like. Work on the actual commission begins only when you are completely satisfied and confident about all aspects of the painting.

To begin work on the commission painting you pay a 50% deposit. The balance is paid upon completion and delivery of the painting. While no size is too big extra charges might apply for paintings requiring special transportation for delivery. During the painting process you will be periodically updated on the progress of the painting prior to its completion, asked to view the painting in person or provided photographs to ensure that you will be completely satisfied.

Pricing is based on size. Custom sizes are available generally by increments of 2 inches if available.

Sales tax added for all California commissioned not shipped out of state.

Payment: Credit Card or cash.

Commission Agreement provided before or upon receipt of deposit.
